Go Language and BeagleBone Black

Go figure.

Go language examples at Gobot leave out few pieces.

You have to have gcc in your path so I installed Mingw-W64 and ran the beaglebone examples from the bat file the install leaves behind (which sets the path etc.).

Couldn’t seem to get the GoClipse environment to build the example so still work to go there.

So, the most of $2 device turned up.  Promised to be a Parallel port but looks to pass as a parallel printer port.  I am not sure that the eeprom programming software recognizes it at all.  Opted to get a $9 PCI card after all so things on back burner there again.

I know, bad bad bad

Got a little distracted and now the final push for my Masters – Dissertation.

So, I will have an excuse for patchy hobby bits

In the meantime, my Micropython card came.  So dabbling with that.

Looking at a DCM based IMU although this has enough grunt (I think) for Kalmen filtering.

Missing threads though.

Pity.
