Upgrade

I had used basic 5v power supply and was running the front fan only of my TT Mini Core V1. Admittedly a bit of a hack job.

But the two empty 8cm slots bugged me. So I’ve decided to upgrade the box, mitt:

SilverStone Strider Essential ST60F-ES230 600W 80 Plus Power Supply. I almost splurged on a modular, so as not to get the copious umbilical setup, but went for inexpensive option.

2 x JUMPEAK 8025 80mm Computer Case Fan mitt ARGB for the back, I’ll leave the dull colourless 20cm fan in the front.

Mitt led blinks by tidy controller

I had a couple of ARGB controllers left over from my MonstaPC Build. However, the 3 of 4 pin connector was a different, smaller, size. Therefore I looked for an adapter and as usual it was almost as cheap to by a new controller with the correct sized connections for the fans.

I also bought some magnetised dust mesh for the sides. White, so will need a touch of black paint. A little too long, but trimmed to size with scissors. So the sides now have a dust shield, where they did not previously.

Very tidy.
